At Staples, Genevieve told me she was shopping for a pink bag. Instead, she got to pick glue sticks and beginner scissors. As soon as she got home, she started working on her art. She
continued with cutting fringe on sheet after sheet of paper. When it was time for a family walk, she said she wanted to take the stroller. I assumed she meant her doll stroller. Wrong! She said the "purple stroller that you push." She then informed us that she would be taking paper, scissors, a black marker, a yellow marker, and an orange crayon to work on her art in the stroller. She was busy the entire walk. She kept referring to herself as an artist "like Aunt Lizzy" and pointing a toe; dramatic ballet style. Is this something Aunt Lizzy does?

Yes the indoctrination is working! Forget brain surgeons, my nieces will be artists.
Seriously though, thank you so much for the stories! I love hearing about my family.
